We had a great turnout from our boys program for the Boys Elite College Camp last week. From all reports, the boys did a fantastic job in regards to their technical play, work ethic, and eagerness to learn from these college coaches. This camp provided great exposure for our players in terms of getting good information about the college recruitment process, academic requirements, and information about the NCAA schools.

LAGSD Boys College Liaison, Sean Gurley, commented, “The feedback from the college coaches was very insightful and positive about our program. They were very impressed with the standard of play from our teams and the quality of players throughout the age groups. The college coaches also were very pleased with the boy’s attitudes and demeanor off the field, such as asking good questions about the college recruiting process and wanting to learn and improve. I am very proud of our players this week and am excited to further improve this camp in the future.”

Below is the list of the college coaches that attended our camp:

  • Point Loma Nazarene (NCAA II)
  • Emery Riddle, Florida (NCAA II)
  • Loyola Marymount (NCAA I)
  • Claremont McKenna College (NCAA III)
