Courtney Drummond

Tel no. (619) 971-9254

As an Assistant Coach at CSUSM, Courtney helped mentor 28 all-conference selections and 6 All-Americans. The Cougars have won three more conference titles and have appeared in four more NAIA tournaments with her on the sideline. Before Courtney left CSUSM in May 2016, she was a key part of the University and Athletics Department transition to NCAA Division 2. Courtney left CSUSM to concentrate on ushering in the U.S. Soccer Girls Development Academy at LA Galaxy San Diego.

As a player, Courtney started 72 of 73 matches in which she appeared with CSUSM. She scored a record seven goals as a freshman in the program’s first season and helped CSUSM to back-to-back Association of Independent Institutions conference titles in 2008 and 2009. Drummond also appeared in two NAIA National Championships.

A very driven coach, Courtney is very well organized and her practices are always designed to get the very best out of every player. As a role model, she sets all young female players a great example.
