With all youngers (U8-U14) having received their new Carlsbad United F.C. uniforms we are now beginning to run a mass collection of old Wave and Lightning uniforms which we plan to donate to various areas/programs for the benefit of less fortunate children/teams/clubs.

Colegio de Santa Rosa de Lima (St. Rose of Lima School) was established in 1990 in Tijuana, Mexico, as a part of a mission to educate children living in poverty. The founders of the school converted a dirt field covered with trash into a school that now educates 500 students, grades 1 – 12. We will be helping this school out be supplying uniforms, cleats, soccer equipment, and sending our coaches down to take sessions.

We are STRONGLY encouraging all Team Managers (or volunteers from team) to organize the collection of your teams old uniforms and drop them off in one bundle at the CUFC Office (5315 Avenida Encinas, Suite 200).

We will also have a collection box at our MANDATORY Club Night (for U7-U14 competitive players only), this coming Tuesday, June 10th. It makes perfect sense to bring your old uniforms there and drop them off.

Again, we are a big club, and when we decide to help, whatever the cause, it makes a massive difference. Let this be the same and please donate your old uniforms for the benefit of others less fortunate than ourselves!
