DAY 4 – 12.06.15
Today was the final day of games in this round of National League in North Carolina and again our GU16 & GU18 Elite teams achieved great results. Our U16 girls tied 0-0 with Tennessee to finish joint top of their respective league with a very impressive 3-1-0 record also boasting 6 goals for and 0 against. Our U18 girls also finished tied top of their respective league but won their last game 4-0 against KCU Rangers. Our U18 girls won every game, scored 11 goals and conceded none – extremely clinical!

Congrats girls and good luck in the next round in March at Las Vegas.

GU18 report:
Carlsbad Elite 97/98 (CA-S) is on track to add to its record three National League titles, as its one of two teams — along with KHA Red (OH-S) — that are on top of the Under-18 Divisions with 12 points after a week of play.

Carlsbad has now gone 12 National League games undefeated and un-scored on – a truly remarkable achievement. With four wins out of four in North Carolina, you would say they are perfectly placed to take their fourth National League Championship and stand alone as the only team is National League history to do so.

Play will resume in March in Vegas. Lets do this ladies!

DAY 3 – 12.05.15
Day 3 continued in the same fashion as day 1 & 2 with both our GU16 & GU18 Elite teams winning with clean sheets. Today’s victories were a little more comprehensive and leave both teams right at the top of the pack.

Our U18 girls very impressively won 5-0 with Danielle Goad grabbing a brace and Hayley Mayne, Riley Nixon and Miranda Hald all getting on the scoresheet.

Our 16s girls won 3-0 with Kameryn Hoban getting a brace and Emily Knepler scoring the other.

Keep it up guys!

GU16 Report
Carlsbad Elite 99 (CA-S) picked up its second shutout of the week, as it defeated Midwest United 00 Royal (MI), 2-0, to stay near the top of the Under-16 Blue Division. Little separated the teams in the first half before the Cal South side managed to grab a 39th-minute lead on a Kayleigh Webb strike. Midwest United threatened to equalize in the second half, but Carlsbad added an insurance goal around the hour mark. Tina Oddone received a low cross in the box and slid her shot around the keeper to put Carlsbad in front, 2-0. The defense made sure those goals held up, as the Cal South side recorded another clean sheet.
